What a dreamy studio newborn session this was with handsome little Joey! From the moment he arrived, I was captivated by his dark skin and hair—he is truly a beautiful little man. I could have never ended his session; he was just that perfect!

Dreamy Studio Newborn Session

One of the highlights of Joey's session was incorporating elements that were meaningful to his parents. Joey's dad was a wrestler in high school and college, and he is a die-hard Iowa fan. So, of course, we had to include an Iowa singlet in some of the shots. It was a special way to honor his dad’s passion and provide these beautiful memories for them.

Joey was a dream to photograph. He was sleepy and sweet, making every setup and pose effortless. Whether he was wrapped in soft, cozy blankets or lying on a simple backdrop, his sweet expressions and those tiny little features made for some incredibly precious moments that I’m sure his parents will treasure forever.

This session was a reminder of why I love newborn photography so much. There’s something magical about capturing these early days of a baby’s life.
