Being a family photographer means that I get to be with my clients for some of the most exciting moments of their lives. I’ve been with the Ruckebeil family since they were pregnant with their son, Paul. And now I’ve been a part of his life through newborn photos, family portraits and then maternity portraits again when his sister Penelope came along. So, basically, I’m an unofficial member of their family at this point! 

These kids are seriously a blast. Paul is a ton of fun – he’s a ham (in the best way!) in front of the camera and Penelope is definitely learning. You’ll see she got to put on some lip gloss during our session! A girl after my own heart… a good lip gloss is all you need! Once she got her lip gloss, she was all smiles.
