Bear with me on this one – I’ll try not to be too emotional or biased… but can we talk about how handsome Hunter is? Although it was much harder to photograph him, since he’s my kid, we had a blast. We started our session in Downtown Iowa City but it didn’t take long for me to look at him and tell him he needed a hair cut badly! His hair was way too long for my liking, ha! So moms out there – I totally get it when you feel the same!! Thankfully he got a haircut and we finished our session on a later day with his shorter hair.
Like I always tell my seniors, it’s a great time to bring in whatever items reflect your favorite hobbies or future career path, so for Hunter we made sure to focus on some hunting. Maybe in the spring we’ll grab some fishing photos! Hunter is going to be attending DMACC this fall and studying criminal justice. I’m so proud of him and his goal to become an Iowa State Patrolman (even if my mom anxiety is sky high over it!). Hunter, you know how proud of you I am. I’m so thankful you let me capture these portraits. They mean so much more to me than you’ll ever know.
