Happy birthday to Emery! Okay, okay so I'm a tad bit late sharing her sweet milestone session, but I can't help sharing it now! Emery wasn't too thrilled about our session to start (like a lot of senior guys, ha!), but she eventually warmed up to me! I honestly had forgotten how much babies this age like to move and be busy. Once she got comfortable, she was all about exploring the leaves. And by exploring, I mean eating them.... but that's okay! She was so sweet!!

Her parents brought the cutest little woodsy outfits for her to wear. She was adorable in everything. I bet that's a common theme for her family! Capturing a first birthday milestone is so exciting for me (especially considering most of my other milestones are when kids are all grown up!). Parents often wonder if they should do something special to celebrate their little one's first birthday and I definitely say yes!! It only happens once and it's just as much a celebration for you for surviving that first year.
