Getting to photograph families multiple times is definitely something I love about my job, which I’m sure by now, most of you know. I love knowing that families trust me year after year to capture their special moments. Especially when those moments involve an extended family session and lots of love!!! I have photographed these two beautiful women and their families quite a few times individually over the years. This year, they decided it would be a great idea to update the entire family’s photos. So, they did!

We met at Lake McBride for their family portrait session. Both of them and their families were there, plus their parents. I LOVE that these sisters made it a point to update all of the family photos since they haven’t had them done since they were kids. It’s so special to me!!! And you could tell it meant a lot to their parents too. 

Lake McBride turned out to be the perfect location for their family portraits. It gave us all space to photograph the families together and individually without feeling like it was too tight. We had some great options for backdrops and locations to mix it up. And the kids loved playing in the water and waterfall along the beach! You know I love it when kids get to be kids during their family session.
