I LOVE the McCarty family! I'm always excited when we get a new session on the books. And as much as I love seeing the humans, I'm definitely thrilled to see their furbabies most of all! Maddie and Herky are two rescue dogs that got the best owners ever in this family. We always schedule their portraits around the dogs' hair appointments - so you can see they're clearly a priority in the family!! 

This year, their session was held right in their own backyard.... which is seriously gorgeous! Definitely a no brainer to choose to shoot there. The boys have gotten even bigger than I remember - I guess that's how time goes!! For this year's session they chose to wear matching Iowa WAVE shirts. Another choice I loved! They helped their all-white dogs stand out even more in the portraits! 

We had a great time together, like always. There were lots of laughs (thanks to the dogs) and because everyone is just so FUN! Thanks for another great year, McCartys!
