I know I've said it before, but I'll say it again: I LOVE when families give gift certificates for photos! It's such a wonderful idea. Family photos seem to be one of those things we do when our kids our young and then we kind of forget about as we get older. We always want to lose the weight, or find the perfect date, or a million other excuses. And over the years, we forget to get them done. But there's something so incredible about having photos to document your family over the years! 

Emily gave her family and her in-laws a gift certificate for Christmas last year. It was such a great way to encourage everyone to come together for family photos after all these years!! And come together we did. Everyone met in Kent Park for their family portraits. It was a little bit chilly the morning we met, but everyone was so wonderful - and we got some great portraits as the sun rose over the park. I love every single photo we captured and I'm so happy we could get update their family portraits this year!
