Photographing newborns is something I always look forward to. They are so precious! I love capturing every detail of their sweet, tiny little fingers and toes, their sleepy expressions, and of course all their adorable outfits and props. Iowa Newborn baby girl, Kenli was no exception. She was beautiful with her blond hair and cute little outfits!

At first, Kenli really didn’t want to go to sleep, which is unusual for a newborn. However, once she did finally fall asleep she was out, and we took full advantage of it! We swaddled her in a handmade hooded blanket that had animal ears on the hood. Then we dressed her in a variety of beautiful headpieces and swaddles! My favorite image of Kenli is her wrapped in a hunter green swaddle on top of a chunky dark green blanket. The green hue complements her complexion wonderfully, and I just love how her hands are curled up by her face squishing her adorable little cheeks together!  

I couldn’t get enough of this little peanut! I can’t wait to see how much she grows over the next couple of months when I see her again for milestone portraits. I am always so blown away by how much these sweet babes have grown in such a short amount of time. Enjoy the sweetness of this perfect little newborn baby girl.
