Despite knowing Tanner for years after photographing his family portraits, I was a tad nervous for his Senior pictures!  Just to give you an idea, if Tanner sees me out in public, he typically runs in the opposite direction to hide from me!  I’m not joking!  And it’s not because I’m scary; he just isn’t fond of pictures. 

Knowing that, I started preparing him for this big day a few years ago during his family photos.  Naturally, when the day finally rolled around, we arrived at our location and were welcomed by 30 mph wind gusts.  I was praying I could capture just one good picture.  But as you can see, I didn’t have to worry at all, because Tanner brought his A game and knocked this session out of the park.   

We not only survived this session but he totally rocked it, (except for the one of him giving his mom a kiss!!)  Also, I think Tanner likes me a little more than when we started . . . maybe that is pushing it though!! HA! 

Despite the weather, we captured several amazing photos of him, and even a few of him with his family!  I can’t believe what a handsome gentleman he has grown up to be! I am so excited to see what the future holds for him as he will be attending UNI this fall for High School Math education!!  How amazing!!  The world needs good teachers, especially for Math.  This pandemic has truly shown us the importance of good educators and I have no doubt that he will be absolutely AMAZING!
