The Pettinger family is one of my favorites to photograph because of how much fun we have during the session! This family’s three children are grown, which should make a mini session a breeze since they can all follow directions quite well; however, I’m always thankful I don’t schedule another session too close, as we tend to get sidetracked laughing and having a good time. They kept me entertained as they scaled trees for the perfect shot and even took time to mediate! 

In all seriousness though, what I love most about this family is that their bond shines through in every photo. It is clear that this family has fun together and never turns down an opportunity for an adventure. The whole family looked amazing in their fall themed outfits, which perfectly complemented the natural scenery. I’m also slightly obsessed with the ladies’ accessories! Mom’s earrings are darling, and THAT SCARF!  

I’m happy I was able to grab a photo of mom and dad together with the tall grass creating a perfect backdrop. Oh, and the family pyramid with mom top and center, is my absolute favorite! I wish I had enough time to blog about all the “bloopers” and candid moments of the session!! Thank you for allowing me to capture your family’s joy and for making my job easy!
