Whenever a family welcomes a new baby it should always be documented! Especially when it's the birth of a new generation! I photographed this gorgeous Iowa Family Mini Session to celebrate the reunion of family and represent three generations of love and family.
Athena is a friend and co-worker of mine! So when she told me her family was visiting from KC, we had to schedule a super quick, but beautiful family mini session!!
We headed to an idyllic park that provided gorgeous views. I love the outfits they all chose for the photo session! They coordinated and complemented each other wonderfully! Even the precious, newest family member was dressed in a darling dress and matching bow.
I’m so honored to capture moments in time like this. Time together with family should always be cherished and celebrated. It brings me so much joy to think that this is the first family photo featuring new parents with their family members, who are also embracing their new role as aunt, uncle, and grandparent to this sweet baby girl. I know how exciting it is for those welcoming their first grandbaby!
