Today’s featured Sunrise Iowa Family Session of the Schmelzer Family is near and dear to my heart!  I am so thankful for Travis and Erin and that I get to call them family!! These adorable little girls Mya and Leah are so sweet and full of life! I love spending time with family as well as photographing the same families each year. It is a joy to talk and learn about the new happenings in their life as well as see how much all the kids have changed since the last session. 

The Schmelzers choose the perfect outfits for our outdoor, early morning photo session. The girls wore matching white and red floral dresses that were styled slightly different adding a wonderful variance to the photos. Mom and dad coordinated their wardrobe perfectly! 

These two little girls are both so stinking cute! However, they are very different from each other! Miss Mya is a little ham! She loved the camera and had no problem posing and smiling on cue! I loved capturing her big, irresistible smile! I can totally see her modeling for me one day. Her sister, Leah, on the other hand, was not impressed with me or getting her photo taken. She wasn’t too fond of the freezing temperature of our early morning session or the light snow that covered the ground from the night before. She has an ornery, adorable grin and an infectious giggle. Nothing is better than the sweet sound of kids giggling! 

Despite the cold and a little resistance we ended with a truly amazing session filled with Laughter and maybe a little bribery.  Enjoy my favorites from our Sunrise Iowa Family Session.
