This year was crazy! I had several amazing families that I photographed over the last year who welcomed new babies to their families! (Thank you, Covid).  It was truly an unforgettable year filled with so many adorable, sweet babies! It is crazy to think almost all of them are now one year old including this adorable little girl, Ari!  For Ari’s one year milestone portraits, we met at Iowa’s Kent Park on a beautiful evening! 

One Year Milestone Portraits

Let me start off by saying, I love this girl and her expressions! She had me cracking up with her serious looks, but then I’d get her to smile and those bright blue eyes lit up! Ari looked adorable in her simple little dresses! I love the photo of her holding out a flower; it is so precious! After capturing a few portraits of her in the grass, we brought out the special white chair made by her grandpa! Incorporating meaningful items like this into clients' photos is always my favorite. I know that years from now, this lovely family will look back through photos and they will see this chair. They will not only be reminded of their sweet little girl, Ari, but of her grandfather too, and that is so special.
