Outdoor Iowa Wedding | The Seaton Wedding
I seriously can't say enough wonderful things about this couple!! Brittany and Cody’s outdoor Iowa wedding was a beautiful and elegant event. I had the best time photographing their big day and getting to know the couple. Brittany and I met via zoom during the height of covid. A zoom meeting wasn't my first choice, as I prefer to meet my couples in person. I really want to have a connection with my clients, and make sure that we are okay being around each other for 10+ hours on one of the most stressful days of their life! Brittany and I immediately clicked and had so much fun just chatting, and I knew instantly from our conversation that their wedding was going to be a blast!!
Outdoor Iowa Wedding
Their simple, elegant wedding took place on Brittany’s grandparents farm. I captured Brittany and her bridesmaids getting ready. They even headed outside and walked through a path in one of the corn fields! They were such an amazing group of women! Brittany was also the BEST bride! She was one of the calmest brides I’ve met. She wasn’t going to let anything spoil her big day, even when there was snafu with her wedding dress, she continued to smile and take it all in stride.
Now, most grooms don't like me and typically run in the opposite direction when they see me coming. HA! Honestly, I thought that would be Cody, but he didn't run from me at all!! We captured the newlyweds walking together in the fields of tall grass on the farm. It was a romantic, idyllic setting. I had the best time capturing this couple’s wedding day memories! Thank you both so much for letting me be part of your big day!!!
