Solon Summer Wedding | Alexander and Emma
Alexander and Emma had an absolutely beautiful Solon Summer Wedding day! Prior to their wedding day, I had only met Alexander and Emma via Zoom since we booked their wedding during the height of Covid. I always get a tad nervous when I haven't met a couple before the wedding. You never know how it will go - Will we jive? Will we have the same type of personalities? It can make it a stressful day not knowing a couple personally. However, once I met them both, all those worries instantly vanished. They were the sweetest people and we got along great!! Emma looked positively stunning in her wedding dress and her classic white wedding bouquet featuring eucalyptus leaves.
Solon Summer Wedding
Alexander and Emma got married at St. Peter and Paul church in Solon, which is the same church Emma's parents did, making for a very special and memorable ceremony. We took time after the wedding to recreate a few pictures from her parent’s wedding day!! We also incorporated an amazing car that Alexander and his family restored for their wedding get away car!! Alexander loves to work on cars, so driving away in a car he restored is something that I am sure neither of them will ever forget! I loved all the personal touches woven into their wedding day. It was truly special and unique to them.
After their lovely wedding, I snuck the couple away for some wedding portraits at a local bridge before heading to the reception at the Veterans Memorial Building in Cedar Rapids!! There they celebrated their marriage with all their closest family and friends!
