I have loved having all these adorable newborns in my studio recently. There is something about a newborn baby that is just magical. You can’t help but to stop and stare and take in all the sweetness and little features.  Little sweet Ryann was a doll! I had the most amazing time capturing her outdoor inspired newborn girl session. 

Outdoor Inspired Newborn Girl Session

I was so excited to meet Ryann, however the feeling wasn’t mutual. Ha! She was not having it at first and wanted nothing to do with me or my camera. I didn’t want her in distress, so we decided to take a little break and try again a few days later! It worked out as the next time I saw sweet little Ryann she slept soundly the whole session!! She has the squishiest little cheeks and sweetest little smile.  

Her parents are outdoor people, so we wanted to incorporate that into her newborn photos.  We captured many shots with antlers, but my favorite is the crescent moon prop. Ryann looked so sweet curled up on the moon with her long stocking cap on! We used sage green as an accent color, another nod to the outdoors, and mom was great at picking out and bringing great props to use!  Her newborn portraits turned out wonderfully and I loved every second with this precious little girl!
