Two-Year-Old Milestone Session | Lyric
One of the best parts of my job is seeing families and kids grow. Capturing each stage or season of life for my clients is something that I am passionate about and absolutely love. The downside is that I become extremely attached to all my families! In the same way it is hard at times for parents to watch their children grow up, it is bittersweet for me too. Newborn milestone sessions produce the same feelings. I eagerly look forward to each monthly milestone to see how the baby has changed. Is he holding his head up now? I bet she is crawling around everywhere. I wonder if he is walking yet?! I can’t wait to see her toothy grin! These are all thoughts I have leading up to each session. Milestone sessions typically end after the first birthday, however, Lyric’s mom decided to continue the tradition with two-year-old milestone portraits of her sweet little girl. I couldn’t have been more thrilled, as I have just fallen in love with Lyric and her family!
Two-Year-Old Milestone Session
To celebrate Lyric’s second birthday, we planned a fun studio session complete with balloons and glitter confetti! I had the most wonderful time catching up with Lyric’s mom, whom I just love. Dad and Grandma were there too and are always fun to be around! Watching Lyric experience the confetti was such a fun moment! Her sweet giggles were the best! Pure joy danced across her face and I loved capturing it all! Who couldn't adore this sweet little girl!!
I am always thankful for families who continue to use me as their milestone and family photographer as I genuinely look forward to seeing everyone, hearing their stories, and seeing how they’ve changed.
