I got to know this awesome senior, Cayden, over the summer! He and his mom are amazing and I had the best time getting to know them both! The best part was that I had the opportunity to see them twice!  The original date of Cayden’s Iowa City Summer Senior Session was hot, humid, and muggy.

In fact, it was the hottest, and most humid day of the whole summer! We met to start the shoot, but it became apparent quickly that we might need to reschedule. I felt so bad for Cayden during the session. The humidity was insane and he was sweating through everything he wore. We decided to switch it up and do another session later because we were all miserable in the heat!

Iowa City Summer Senior Session 

Despite the heat, Cayden still rocked his session! You would never even know from the pictures how uncomfortable it was outside that day exploring Iowa City! During his second session, we met in Solon where we captured a few around town before heading to the Football field!! Whenever a senior is involved in a sport, I always try to incorporate that into their session!

I always try to capture my seniors, especially the guys, in a few pictures with their mom! I grabbed a couple good ones of Cayden and his mom that I just love! His mom was so sweet and I loved chatting with her during Cayden’s summer senior portraits. At times, I forgot we were in the middle of a session, they were both so easy to talk to!
