I had a blast capturing this Iowa senior guy portrait session featuring Kaden! He made me feel like I was taking pictures of my own boys!! My boys are hunters too, so it meant so much to me to be able to incorporate his love of hunting into his photos. The images of Kaden in his tree stand are my favorite! I love how they turned out!

Kaden is an all around awesome kid! He also caused me to go outside of my comfort zone, which after being a photographer for so long, I didn’t really think was possible anymore! I climbed up a really old, rickety ladder to the top of a feed mill AND walked around on the roof to capture this amazing senior and make sure I delivered the senior session he envisioned. I also walked close to 100 miles through tall grass and dense timber to get to his tree stand. I might be exaggerating a bit on that 100 miles, but when you are terrified of all the creatures that could be hiding in the fallen timber or lurking in the tall grass, it feels like a lot longer! Ha! 

I am so glad I put my fears aside, because the images I captured of Kaden in the forest are not only my favorite, but they perfectly represent this awesome guy! I had the most wonderful time talking and getting to know him along our trek through the woods! Enjoy a few of many favorites from his IA senior portrait session.
