I may be a tad biased, but I think this senior might be the most handsome senior guy I've ever had … BUT, I am also his mom!!  His little freckles do make me happy though!! I can’t believe Sam is a senior and here I am taking his pictures! It is all a bit surreal. I have had the opportunity to photograph the senior portraits of many young men Sam grew up with recently. It is so hard to believe that any of them are seniors. They will always be sweet little elementary kids in my eyes. 

Iowa Senior Portraits on Farm 

For Sam’s Iowa Senior Portraits we headed to an old Farm where we got a few pictures with his grandpa’s pickup truck and Sam and his hunting gear!!  We also took a quick trip to Amana for some variety. With Sam and I’s busy schedules, it was hard to find an open night to take his senior portraits! Somehow we managed to find an open night. Thankfully, the night we chose was a gorgeous fall evening! 

It is funny because people often assume that my kids love to have their picture taken, but that is definitely not the case! They do not enjoy it and I actually dread taking pictures for my kids!  They usually end up misbehaving the whole time, making weird faces at the camera, and always manage to get dirty! Sam did pretty good though! Only a few weird faces this time around. 

I am so proud of him and all his senior friends! As this year comes to an end a new chapter in life is starting for each of them! I can’t wait to see what is written next!
