I loved photographing this beautiful family! I have known the mom, Erica for quite a few years, but I finally had the pleasure of meeting her husband, son, and sweet fur baby, Nala for their Amana Iowa Family Portraits! We had a wonderful time walking around Amana even though the day of our session was a dark, gloomy, and misty day in Amana. The weather didn’t affect our session though, as the Millers rocked their session.

Their sweet lab, Nala, was extremely well behaved! I loved that she was a part of their family portraits! During their session, I grabbed some great pictures of Erica and her son! He wasn’t shy and didn’t mind when Erica kissed him on the cheek. I love mother-son pictures! 

Even though the weather was gloomy, it was still beautiful at Amana. Amana could be one of my favorite places to shoot all year around! It has a little bit of everything! When you add in a gorgeous family like the Millers, it makes it even better!!
