Baby Boy Newborn Session | Newborn Cohen
This sweet baby boy newborn session was incredibly special for so many reasons! Cohen decided that he wanted to enter this crazy world 4 months before his original due date! I can't even imagine how crazy of a ride it was for Cohen and his family! I know one thing for certain, this little dude is a fighter and so are his parents! They all showed incredible strength and perseverance in such a challenging time. They never gave up though! Just because Cohen is little, doesn't mean he isn't mighty!
Sweet Baby Boy Newborn Session
On the day of his newborn session, Cohen was gestionally over 24 weeks! Sweet little Cohen is a fighter in strength, but also of naps! HA! It was completely fine though. He was bright eyed, calm, and curious. He didn't want to miss out on one second! I could have snuggled him all day!! He was the sweetest baby. To document their journey, Mom and Dad brought along some of the hospital bracelets, blood pressure cuffs, and diapers that he used when he was just over one pound!! It is so hard to even fathom this sweet babe that tiny.
My favorite part of Cohen’s newborn session was listening to the stories of him and how he persevered, how he rolled over in the hospital, and how strong mom and dad were!! Included in the photos were a chain of beads, which tells this little guy and his family’s whole story. Cohen received a bead for every day in the hospital, which are in different colors to represent the needle sticks, good days, rough days, getting out of the NICU and moving to a step down nursery, rolling over, etc. This guy is such a little warrior!! Cohen and his parents have been through so much in such a short amount of time, I hope these images bring them SO MUCH JOY and remind them of how strong they all are.
