I love when clients come to me to photograph a milestone moment in life. Taking a moment to celebrate and capture a special moment in time is something you’ll never regret! 50th Wedding Anniversaries are pretty hard to come by and absolutely worth documenting and celebrating! This was the perfect time to update family pictures and capture the two who started the beautiful family you see here today! The family surprised their parents with a large anniversary party in Amana just after our Iowa family celebratory session!

With larger extended families, I try to move quickly to ensure I have time to update everyone's extended and immediate family, and still leave time at the end for some fun ones too!! This family did beautifully! We had time to grab photos of each family and plenty of fun ones! I love seeing generations of a family gathered together, and it’s all because two people fell in love, as the saying goes. 

I had such a wonderful time capturing the Sider family and celebrating their marriage anniversary and the life and love that they have built!
