Anytime I have to photograph a newborn session, I know it is going to be a good day! There is nothing better than a sweet little newborn, especially one curled up soundly asleep, dreaming sweetly. This precious newborn girl + family session of Miss Carly was perfection. She never fussed at all and let me put her in whatever position I wanted for the shot! She is the sweetest little nugget!

Since Carly was so great, we were able to get a lot of different looks and poses in their session. For a few images she slept soundly swaddled in a mauve colored blanket while laying on a white, soft knitted blanket in a wooden box. 

We later switched her outfits and props with a burnt orange wrap and long furry blanket for her to lay on. She wore the cutest headband and held tightly to her stuffed animal. As she laid contently on her belly holding her stuffy, she gave us the biggest sleepy smile! 

Her parents are former volunteer firefighters. To pay homage to that, they brought their suits to use in the photos, and it worked out perfectly! Carly laid inside one of their firefighter hats holding a stuffed American flag, on top of their jackets spread out. I love it! 

We also made sure to grab tons of mom and dad snuggling her she slept.  Carly is such a joy!!  I had the best time capturing this tiny little babe and her sweet family for their session.
