Meet David! I’ve had the pleasure of knowing this high school senior since he was a little kindergartner! We were neighbors, which means I had the joy of knowing him and his family and watching him grow up. And, he has definitely grown up! David is such a wonderful guy and I had the best time catching up with him and his mom during his Senior Portraits in Amana Iowa!

I absolutely adore his mom! She contacted me about capturing David’s senior photographs and we were able to fit a session at the last minute! I am so glad it all worked out because David’s photos turned out great! He is a really good pitcher for Clear Creek Amana and loves to play baseball! We made sure to hit up the ball field and grab some of David out in the field and in the dugout.
After we finished at the ballfield, we ventured around town. It was a great fall day to wander around and take in the beauty. We found a couple really cool spots to shoot in our very own little town! One of those spots was a cool abandoned building. There were a few moments that I was a tad nervous that something may fall, but everything was fine!! After making it out of the abandoned building unscathed we finished up his session at Kent Park. The natural scenery there is always a treat and provides the most wonderful picture backdrops.
