Mr. Hudson was the most adorable, sweet little guy! I had the most fun capturing his character themed newborn session! Hudson’s parents are huge Star Wars and Harry Potter fans, so we had to incorporate a few elements from each, just for them! This was a fun and creative way to capture their baby's first moments, while also celebrating their favorite fandoms.

Character Themed Newborn Session

For the Harry Potter themed photoshoot, Hudson was loosely wrapped in a Gryffindor scarf. As he slept he gripped a wand with Hedwig and his glasses close by as well. When we switched over to Star Wars, Hudson put on a knitted baby Yoda hat! It was precious!

We also photographed a few traditional newborn photos of him swaddled up sleeping and cozy in his parents arms. Hudson’s grandma is a quilter and the beautiful teal and gray afghan is handmade by her! I love these little special touches to add to the sessions.

With the right props, special details, and settings, you can create a magical and memorable newborn shoot that you and your family will treasure forever.
