I had the best time capturing Vivian's one-year milestone session in my studio. Time flies by in the blink of an eye, and it feels like just yesterday that Vivian graced us with her presence as a sweet little newborn. However, on the day of her session, she seemed a little unsure about the whole affair. She could escape quickly with her one-legged army crawl! Despite Vivian's initial hesitation, we managed to capture some truly precious moments. Wearing her lacy white dress and a big smile she looked absolutely adorable. 

First Year Milestone + Family Session

Now, let's talk about the cake smash! While some little ones can't resist diving headfirst into a delicious cake, Vivian had a different perspective. It seemed that she wasn't too keen on getting messy and preferred to observe the cake from a safe distance. She was not too happy when the cake ended up all over her hands and face. Nonetheless, her adorable reaction brought smiles to our faces.

It is truly a privilege to witness and capture these significant milestones in a child's life. Vivian's session is a beautiful reminder of the importance of milestone portraits to capture this fleeting season of life and the incredible growth that occurs in just one year.
