Iowa weather can be unpredictable, and the Bevens family experienced just that during their fall family photo session last October. While they expected crisp autumn air and colorful leaves, they were greeted with sweltering heat instead. Despite the unexpected weather, the Bevens family embraced the moment, creating unforgettable memories filled with laughter, love, and a few beads of sweat.

 Blended families have a special kind of magic. In the case of the Bevens family, their session was a delightful blend of personalities, quirks, and shared bonds. From the moment they arrived, it was evident that this family cherished each other's company.

I captured all the candid moments and genuine smiles. Whether they were joking around, sharing stories, or simply enjoying the warmth of the sun, their connection was evident. One of the joys of photographing blended families is getting to witness the unique dynamics and personalities.  We shared lots of laughs and they shared all the juicy gossip on who is the favorite, who is orneriest, who got the best grades – you know, all the good dirt! They were so funny and I truly loved my time with them! 

As their session drew to a close, the Bevens family gathered for one final group photo, their smiles bright and their hearts full. Despite the unexpected heat, it had been a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. I hope these images of their beautiful family are ones that they treasure for years to come.
