Meet the Stewart family! I love working with this family and feel so lucky that this is our third summer doing portraits together. Somehow we always manage to pick the hottest day of the year to have their session but despite everything, we made it through and got some perfect portraits for them!!! There may or may not have been some bribery involved, but I won’t judge…. Whatever it takes, right? JI still use bribes on my own kids for portraits sometimes! 

One thing I love about family sessions is how everyone can just interact and feel themselves. I never want my clients to feel like they’re uncomfortable or nervous during our sessions, so I absolutely adore the images I got of Mara and Logan together. They were so sweet and loved giggling together. And as a mom, those images just make my heart so happy! I want my clients to look at their portraits and really see their family. I want them to hear the laughs we had, feel the hugs… I want those moments to be frozen forever.
