The blog today is for the ladies!! I haven't forgotten about you as I've been sharing tips for senior portrait sessions. Ladies, your portrait session will be as awesome as you make it so today I wanted to share a few simple things you can do to make your experience with me great!! Remember, your senior portraits are showing off who you've become through high school. They're celebrating your achievements - academically, in the sports world, in your various other hobbies. They will be used on your graduation announcements, maybe even in your yearbook so you want them to really show off you who are! Here's a few quick tips to make sure they do!

1. Remember that you can bring as many outfits as you want- but that solid colors or patterns smaller than a dime photograph best. You're supposed to be the focus of the images so your outfit should compliment you - not distract!

2. Darker jeans and clothes tend to be more slimming, if that's something you're concerned about. And don't forget to bring a jean jacket! It goes with EVERYTHING!!

3. Bring accessories that show off your hobbies - sports equipment, your friends, your instruments. And bring "props" to add to your outfits like hats, statement necklaces, scarves. Layers look great in portraits!

4. Wear your makeup a little darker than you normally would to make sure it shows in your portraits. A few notes on make up while we're at it... add mascara to your eyes, some blush to your cheeks and a glossy lip liner is the best bet! And don't forget a mani and pedi to get ready too! But remember - you don't have to do anything you don't want, so if makeup isn't you thing, that's okay! It can just help enhance your portraits and your natural beauty! 

5. Have fun! Don't stress too much about the perfect outfits or how your hair is looking. I'll be there to help guide you and make sure we're showing off a confident and radiant you - someone who's worked hard and is here to celebrate! No matter what, you will look beautiful, I promise you!!!
