Sunflower Senior Session | Iowa Senior Karsyn
I love when I have the opportunity to photograph an amazing senior and then later am asked to photograph their younger siblings when they are getting ready to graduate! Karsyn is the baby of the family and prior to capturing her Sunflower Senior Session, I had the honor of photographing her three older siblings when they were graduating from high school! Being asked by families to continually capture their big life moments means the world to me. I love getting to know these families!
There is one sad aspect, however. When I finally photograph the baby of the family, like Karsyn, that means my photography days of hanging with them every few years has come to an end. While it does make me sad to not know when I will see them again, I am still thankful that I was able to shoot all the Piercy kids’ senior year memories and get to know such an amazing family!
Sunflower Senior Session
Karsyn was the sweetest girl! She had a fun personality and was a joy to photograph! She is part of a competitive cheer team, so we made sure to incorporate a few images of her in her cheer uniform as well as a few other locations around Iowa City! As sunset approached, we headed to Colony's Acres to capture this beauty in the gorgeous fields of sunflowers! The sunflowers were a perfect backdrop to Karysn’s senior portraits!
