I always love it when a family gives me the freedom to choose the locations for their photoshoot. That's exactly what happened when I had the pleasure of capturing Ashton's Iowa senior portraits at Amana Colonies. This senior, who attends Prairie High School in Cedar Rapids, is an avid golfer who dreams of playing golf in college.

For Ashton's session, we started out at one of my favorite spots in the Amana Colonies. This picturesque location provided the perfect backdrop for his photos, showcasing the beauty of Iowa's countryside. We then moved on to a super cool old barn, which added a rustic charm to the shoot. We wrapped up the session at Kent Park, where we took advantage of the beautiful lake as our final backdrop. 

During his session, I had the pleasure of meeting both Ashton and his mom, who were an absolute joy to work with. It's always a privilege to meet and work with such amazing families, and Ashton's was no exception.

Capturing Ashton’s senior portraits was wonderful and I love meeting such amazing families through my work! I'm confident that Ashton will continue to excel in his golfing career and go on to do great things in the future. Best of luck, Ashton!
