As a family photographer, I'm always looking for the perfect lighting and backdrop for my sessions. For this outdoor family session with the Goss family, we had just that - a gorgeous fall afternoon with great lighting. However, what we didn't anticipate was the storm brewing behind us. Within 15 minutes of starting our session, a cold front blew in and the wind started to pick up. The sky got darker and it seemed like our session was going to be cut short. However, when I am on a mission AND I am working with an awesome family like the Goss Family, we can accomplish a great session in minutes! We did just that and made the most of the shortened session. Let me tell you, the results from their session were stunning
We were able to capture some incredible moments despite the unexpected weather. And as the dark clouds rolled in, we were treated to a few minutes of the most amazing pink sunset! It was the perfect backdrop before our session ended.
Little Easton may have been happy for the shortened session, but Miss Reagan could have stayed longer. She was an absolute natural in front of the camera and her joy and energy made for some of the best shots of the day.
I am so happy that despite the weather, we were able to create some beautiful memories for this wonderful family that will last a lifetime.
